Ewelina Idziak, PhD - Manager of the Blended Intensive Programme - International Banking - Limitations & Possibilities.

Ewelina is an Adjunct in Faculty of Law and Economics, Department of Economics, Kazimierz Wielki University. She has an outstanding practical, more than 20 years experience in: banking, finance, global consulting connected with more than 14 years of experience in higher education in Polish and English language for international students. She has taken part in many international projects and ERASMUS Programs. She is author of 18 scientific publications. She has received grants f.e. as: international scholarship, tutoring, Blended Intensive Programme etc. Ewelina's scientific interests are f.e.: alternative investments, banking, household finance, corporate finance. She also has a title of: International Teacher & Senior Research Fellow, Reviewer of International Journal of Economics, Finance and Management and many others certificates as f.e. Accountant Certificate. Her new hobby are recently started MBA studies - Master of Business Administration - ENEB - European Business School of Barcelona and three diplomas issued by Universidad Isabel I. She loves to cooperate in international environment.

Simeon Karafolas, PhD, is professor of Accounting and Finance Department, University of Western Macedonia, Greece.

He is the Director of a Master program on Banking Insurance and Finance at the same university. He is author of studies on banking, finance, cooperatives, immigration and regional development. He received research grants from European Union for projects on banking and financing of SMEs. Before join the university he worked in the research department of a large bank in Greece.

Lucian Gaban is a tenured Professor at the Department of Finance and Accounting, Faculty of Economics within the “1 Decembrie 1918” University of Alba Iulia, Romania, where he lectures at both the undergraduate and the graduate levels.

He has a PhD in Finance and his research interests revolve mainly around banking, finance, macroeconomics, taxation and financial analysis. His publication record comprises numerous scientific articles published in top journals such as Social Indicators Research, Eastern European Economics, Technological and Economic Development of Economy, Mathematics, as well as books and book chapters. Professor Gaban has also an extensive experience in the banking system as chief financial officer, retail banking director and corporate credit manager for major commercial banks operating on the Romanian market.

Chaido Dritsaki is a Professor in the Department of Accounting and Finance, School of Economic Sciences, University of Western Macedonia, Greece.

My main research interest lies in the area of Econometric Applications, Applied Economics and Macroeconomics. I hold a PhD from the University of Macedonia, Department of Applied Informatics, an MSc in Banking and Finance from the University of Southampton, School of Management, U.K and a BSc in Economics from the Aristotle University, Thessaloniki, Greece. Prior to my appointment as a Professor, I taught in first and second cycle studies in various universities such as: University of Macedonia, University of Thessaly, International Hellenic University. I have published in leading international journals and presented a large number of my scientific work in prestigious conferences. I am author of the books entitled: “Introduction to Econometrics using E-Views software”, 2nd Edition, Klidarithmos Publications, “Introduction to Financial Econometrics using E-Views software”, Klidarithmos Publications and “Special Issues in Econometrics“. According to Google Scholar my citations reach 1596 (h-index 19 ,i-index 30). My research interests’ span several fields such as economic growth, time series analysis with applications to macroeconomics and finance.

Zuzanna Urbanowicz, PhD, an Assistant Professor at the Department of Business Activity and Economic Policy, Institute of Economics, at Poznań University of Economics and Business.

Her scientific interests encompass the theory of monetary and fiscal policy as well as business cycles. In her research she tries to evaluate the role of economic policy instruments in the macroeconomic stabilisation process.

Professor Tomasz Bojar-Fijałkowski, Faculty of Law and Economics Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz.

Professor Tomasz Bojar-Fijałkowski is the author of over a hundred publications on local government law, public economic law, environment, administration and public management, and a reviewer for prestigious legal journals. He gave lectures at universities in Skopje, Granada, Riga, Tomsk and Kiev. Kiev International University awarded him the title of professor of this university. Outside the sphere of science, he has always been active in practice. He held official positions, including director ones. Currently, he is the Chairman of the Regional Commission for Environmental Impact Assessment at the Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection in Gdańsk, the State Poviat Sanitary Inspector in Nowy Dwór Gdański and the vice-chairman of the supervisory board of one of the hospitals.

Msc Maciej Szreder, Director, Bendura Bank AG, Liechtenstein.

Highly experienced banker with fifteen years of experience in cooperation with a wealthy client (HNWI). For more than seven years representing Bendura Bank AG (Liechtenstein) on the Polish market. The experience built over the years in the Polish and Liechtenstein banking structures strengthens him in cooperation with the most demanding HNWI clients in Europe. Anca Nichita is Teaching Assistant at the Department of Business Administration and Marketing, Faculty of Economics, “1 Decembrie 1918” University of Alba Iulia, Romania.

She received her PhD in Finance from Babes-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, after graduating a BA and an MA in Economics from the same university. She also earned an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of York, UK. She was a visiting researcher during the period 2011–2014 at the University of Vienna, Austria. She also was a postdoctoral researcher in the realm of Tax Behavior, within a program coordinated by the Romanian Academy in Bucharest (2014–2015). Her scientific research was disseminated through over 50 published articles, books and book chapters on Public Finance, Financial Analysis and Neuroeconomics.
